The people behind Phleetto
The platform we built is used to structure transport operations and improve delivery performance
Built and scaled the system behind Phleetto, used daily in freight operations for over a decade.
Co-founded and led development from the first version to daily use
Designed systems that replace manual coordination across emails, calls and spreadsheets
Built engineering teams and delivery processes to support operational demand

Oleh Rudkivskyi
Co-founder & CPO
Led transport operations and shaped the system behind Phleetto through real-world use.
Co-founded and drove implementation directly in live freight environments
Worked with shippers to structure procurement, planning and carrier coordination
Delivered measurable improvements in delivery performance, cost control and operational efficiency
Built from real logistics operations
How Phleetto was created and shaped through daily freight work

Denys and Oleg during a business trip in Budapest (2019)
In 2011, while managing transport in Kyiv, Oleh Rudkivsky faced freight coordination handled through emails, spreadsheets and constant phone calls.
He partnered with software engineer Denys Berg to structure this process into a system instead of manual coordination.
The first version was introduced into live operations and began replacing manual coordination across emails, calls and spreadsheets, reducing phone calls by over 90% in daily use.
Since then, the platform has evolved through real-world use — forming the foundation for what is now Phleetto.
Experience behind Phleetto
Phleetto is a new platform for the UK market, built on operational experience gained from developing and running logistics systems used in live freight operations over multiple years.
Story
Operational experience timeline
The underlying platform was developed and used in real freight operations across multiple industries.
Over time, this involved working with transport teams, adapting to operational requirements, and supporting day-to-day logistics coordination
The platform continues to be actively used in logistics operations in Ukraine under the Sovtes brand, forming the system that now powers Phleetto.

Structure
From Sovtes to Phleetto
Phleetto builds on experience gained from developing and operating a logistics platform used in real freight operations over multiple years.
It has been introduced for the UK market as a separate deployment, with data handled within the UK and EU to meet data protection requirements, including GDPR.
The UK platform has been developed as a separate branch of the original system, shaped by how freight operations are managed locally, including planning, carrier coordination and communication between parties.

How Phleetto works in practice
Phleetto is designed to fit how transport teams already operate — with fast adjustments, clear commercial terms and no forced workflows.
