The underlying system was developed as Sovtes — a logistics platform used in live freight operations across multiple industries.

Development, deployment and commercial use of the platform took place in Ukraine prior to the launch of Phleetto in the UK.

2011–2013

Initial concept, testing with early users, and first commercial contracts

Intellectual property registered in Ukraine, with the platform reaching operational break-even and continuing development

2018–2020

Selection into industry programmes, onboarding of enterprise clients, and expansion of platform capabilities including freight forwarding workflows

Continued use in logistics operations, including during periods of operational disruption, with further development such as mobile access, system integrations, and platform redesign

Phleetto Ltd holds exclusive rights for its use in the UK. The system is deployed as a separate environment, with data kept within the UK and EU to meet data protection requirements, including GDPR.

The UK platform has been developed as a separate branch of the original system, tailored to how freight operations are managed in the UK, including planning, carrier coordination and communication between parties.
